Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) with AVL (Auto Vehicle Location)

LawSoft CAD brings you a lightning fast dispatch module for single, or multi-jurisdictional applications that is seamlessly integrated into GIS / AVL Maping and RMS.  When a location is entered into the CAD there is an instant location based cross-reference generated showing all history at that location as well as any active TRO/FRO's, Warrants, Firearms, Sex Offenders, Vacant Homes, Address Alerts and Emergency Contacts for each location. Motor vehicle history on any registration that is entered will also be displayed showing all stops and summonses that have been recorded within your agency. One button click DMV/NCIC look-up based on vehicle registration or Driver License number performs an instant State inquiry.  Contacts entered into the CAD can be looked up instantly via a master name inquiry that is built into the CAD screen at the click of a button. Dispatcher will instantly have access to all the caller's history within the agency, as well as sex offender registrations, firearms, resident alerts, prior arrests, temporary / final restraining orders, and more. The "In-Basket" logic keeps track of pending reports and who is responsible for completing those reports so that they are finished in a timely fashion.  Our customized tightly integrated GIS mapping feature in our CAD is provided via an exclusive partnership with WTH - ThinkGIS. Record Management System (RMS)
LawSoft RMS offers the most robust set of Police reports of any system available.  Operations Reports, Investigation Reports, Arrest Reports (Booking), Property Reports, Evidence Reports, Domestic Violence Offense Reports, State of NJ Crash Reports, Juvenile Complaints and many others are available.  All reports attached to one case number can be found in less than a second.  Digital data such as photographs and video are also incorporated into the case management and views along with all related reports as well.  All reports include drop down lists and auto-entry features, which ensure easy and standardized reporting.  All State, County and Departmental reports are included and information contained in those reports is integrated into the Case Management feature which allows you to seamlessly tie together all reports filed under the same case number (including supplemental reports). Reports needed for discovery are auto-redacted to leave out pertinent information as required by law (OPRA). We have also developed specialized software to meet the challenge of University Policing which includes federally mandated Clery reporting capabilities.  Statistical Reports can easily be published to GIS maps to form patrol strategies or analyze crime trends with your jurisdiction.

Security
LawSoft takes a granular approach to the security of the data in the system. A mixture of time limits to finish reports combine with certain field accesses depending on the privilege level of each user ensures that the integrity of all information stays in tact. Full audits are generated automatically on reports to indicate when a record has been modified and by whom. The transmission of all data is secured via Secure Sockets Layer encryption (SSL), which is the industry standard for internet / intranet connections.  SSL 168-bit encryption DES3 is the technology used for online transactions such as PayPal?. Wireless and offsite access is given a secondary layer of encryption to assure that your information is fully protected.

Interoperability
LawSoft CAD/RMS has been able to integrate into various other systems to share information with other vendor's software applications such as Infocop, ThinkGIS (Mapping and AVL), eTicket, B.E.A.S.T. Evidence Software, Easy Street Draw (for NJTR-1's), Cross Match, 911 as well as several County data exchange systems throughout the State.  Our software solution creates the ability to stay in compliance with County and State regulations for information sharing, thus giving Police agencies the option of not having to buy into a "County" system just because the County's vendor provides the information sharing within the county.

NCIC GREEN - Now Compatible with CJIS-M
Never Miss a Hit Confirmation Again! 

NCIC GREEN has eliminated the need for continuous NCIC/CJIS message printing and instead redirects incoming messages to a secure searchable database driven application.  Personnel will read and acknowledge messages unless printing is actually needed. Priority messages such as 10 minute respond messages, hit confirmations and any agency specific messages will automatically pop open and sound an alert tone to ensure these messages are read immediately.  Multiple workstations will each receive messages and communicate with each other to determine who acknowledged the message first. A separate and secure audit application tool called NCIC GREEN Lookup will allow users to search messages based on multiple types of criteria including keyword searches.
